I was lucky enough to grow up in the stunning Bay of Plenty and spent most of my younger days exploring all the scenery the Bay has to offer. After finishing my schooling career at Tauranga Boys College I decided to head overseas and pursue my passion of playing cricket at the highest possible level. I was fortunate enough to live in Holland and England for a while and this gave me the amazing opportunity to travel a little bit while continuing to do what I really loved.
I was also lucky enough to represent the Bay of Plenty in cricket for a few seasons, this provided me with the amazing opportunity and challenge of playing against some of the best cricketers in New Zealand. Unfortunately I seemed to be one of those people who had the very annoying habit of picking up niggles and injuries along the way, I like to look at this as a blessing in disguise though as it gave me the chance to work alongside some amazing Physio's and in turn fall in love with the profession.
So after completing a Certificate in Personal Training I decided to head south to Dunedin and study Physiotherapy. After graduating in 2020 it was a no brainer to head back home to our beautiful region and begin my Physio career here with the awesome team at Foundation!
I thoroughly enjoy working with people and helping them get back to whatever it is they enjoy. After all, there's nothing worse than an injury preventing you from doing what you love!
My main areas of interest are complex sports injuries, in particular running injuries and working with our young talented athletes to improve performance and reduce the risk of injury.
