Welcome Corrine Melrose

A huge welcome to our newest staff member Corrine Melrose!

“Originally from Wainuiomata in Lower Hutt, I graduated from the University of Otago in 2013. Since then I have developed diverse background in Physiotherapy working in both sports physiotherapy clinics and hospital wards in NZ and overseas. I returned to NZ last year after spending two years travelling and working in London. It was a hoot.

I was raised in a very sporty and active family with both my parents and grandparents being top NZ runners and tennis players. I have followed in their footsteps and sport has always been a major part of my life. I understand the importance of effective rehabilitation not only in sports, but for all clients and I am passionate about achieving this. I love being a Physiotherapist and working closely with clients to achieve their goals. I am a massive advocate for physical activity and living a healthy lifestyle.

Since moving to the Bay last year to work on my tan and learn to surf, I have enjoyed working with both woman's and men's top football teams at Tauranga City Football Club. Since moving to the Foundation Clinic this year, I will be working closely with rugby teams. I also have a special interest in running, swimming and tennis, I am a member of the Mount Maunganui Tennis Club and have enjoyed developing a wonderful sock tan over the summer”
