Caroline graduated from Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in 2003 and brings over two decades of experience across a wide range of physiotherapy settings. She began her career at Waikato Hospital, where she worked in orthopaedics, burns, hand therapy, and general rehabilitation. Her passion for helping patients regain function took her to the UK, where she gained valuable experience in both acute and community-based physiotherapy.
Upon returning to New Zealand, Caroline transitioned into private practice and completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Western Acupuncture, further broadening her therapeutic toolkit.
In 2018, Caroline chose to specialise in hand therapy, an area that combines her interests in precise assessment, rehabilitation, and functional recovery. She is now proud to offer this specialised service to the Foundation Group. Caroline believes that successful hand therapy requires a careful balance between rest and movement, splinting and exercise – always tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
