Henry is originally from Taiwan, but moved to NZ at a young age and lived with a Kiwi family north of Waikato where he developed a passion for sport at a young age and participated in many sports through time. He is heavily involved with Under 85kg rugby within Waikato and is currently playing for a local team in Hamilton.
Henry completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy via AUT in 2016, and has just recently completed his PGDip in Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2022 via Otago University.
Henry has worked in the Waikato since finishing his Bachelor and has worked in local high schools and with other sport teams.
He loves everything about sports and due to his experience with multiple sports growing up, he has had a fair share of injuries, which actually started his journey for Physiotherapy and allowing him to have a better understanding of the road to recovery.
Henry enjoys getting people functional again with either the use of gym or body weight exercises. He has a background taking Pilates and additional work with TIA and Pain contract.
