Physiotherapist & Hand Therapist

Josh specialises in managing both acute and chronic musculoskeletal physiotherapy injuries and hand injuries alike. Josh strives to help his clients return to full function post injury whilst enacting strategies to prevent future recurrences.

Josh is a graduate of AUT with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and also works as a Registered Hand Therapist. Josh brings many skills to his physiotherapy practice including his background as an athlete competing in multiple Ironman events and marathon running. Josh has also been involved as a guide with the Achilles Foundation, assisting New Zealanders with disabilities compete alongside able-bodied athletes in local, national, and international marathon and ultramarathon running events.

Josh draws on a raft of manual therapy techniques in his mahi including dry needling, soft tissue massage and joint mobilisations whilst also honing in on personalised exercise prescription, load management principles and postural awareness in creating an individualised approach to his client's presenting injury.

Beyond mahi, he enjoys wakeboarding, swimming in the beautiful lake, trout fishing off the back of his kayak and socialising with friends and family. Josh loves to help clients rehabilitate and continue the activities they enjoy doing.
